During our stay at Boot Key, we had been trying to find another boat interested in going to Cuba. Joan and I felt safe enough to make the trip alone, yet it's more enjoyable and less stressful if there's another boat along. Failing to find another boat, heeding Marv's admonishment not to go without them, and because it was getting late, we determined that it was time to head for North Myrtle Beach for the summer and hurricane season.
