This morning, we checked into the NW Caribbean Net and hooked up with friends, Brenda and Gene on "Queen Mary", who are now in the Rio. They as well as Diane and Harold on "Sea Camp" will be in Belize for Christmas and we hope to meet them there.
We have been closely monitoring the weather for the next window to cross the Gulf. Right now it looks like Monday is the day. The winds are predicted to be 10-15 knots with seas 4 to 5 feet and diminishing somewhat over the next day or so. Francesca is ready and so are we. Well, Maggie has mixed feelings about it.

Tomorrow we will cook a turkey, top off the fuel tanks, tie down all the missiles, and finally dream of a great crossing.
